F.P. Journe has increased its lineSport collection with the new Chronographe Monopoussoir Rattrapante, a highly precise watch outfitted with a chronograph and a split-seconds function. The timepiece is available in three different precious metals, platinum, red gold and titanium, with the 44mm case housing the new split-seconds chronograph change and a very large date display.

This new quality 1518 watch is wound manually and is made, as usual, entirely in the F.P. Journe fashioning and has a power reserve of 80 hours. The rattrapante or split-seconds chronograph is a type of chronograph that permits for the timing of two intervals instead of only one and so the watch has two-second hands.

A split-second is considered as a grand development largely because in order for the function to work everything must be coordinated with extreme precision requiring a great deal of work from the watchmaker. @via Haut Fashion and F.P. Journe.
