Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles present a new and innovative 5th generation of the popular Caddy. The car's exterior has been given a completely new and distinctly dynamic design.
The new Caddy is built on the modular cross-platform (MQB). Thanks to MQB, the model range adds new advanced technologies, assistant systems, increased safety and comfort. The designers have taken advantage of the MQB platform to create a complete redesigned body (93 mm longer, 62 mm wider, 25 mm lower).
The exterior of the new Volkswagen Caddy impresses with electric sliding doors and tailgate as well as an extra-large panoramic roof (1.4 m2 - extends over the first and second rows of seats).
Inside, the fifth generation of Volkswagen Caddy impresses with new high-tech solutions and significantly more space in both cabin and cargo space. The structure of instrumentation and controls is completely newly developed. The combination of "Digital Cockpit" and the largest navigation system with 10 "touch screen transforms the driver's seat in Caddy 5 into a new complete digital experience. The infotainment systems (MIB3) provide access to mobile online services and functions via an integrated eSIM card.
The new four-cylinder engines for the Caddy meet the Euro-6 standard, which applies from 2021. The TDI engines in Caddy from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles are among the cleanest diesel engines in the world. In addition, two other efficient engines are available: a 1.5 TSI turbo petrol engine with 116 hp and a 1.5 TGI (natural gas) with 150 hp.
The fifth generation of the Caddy will again be available as a Cargo, as a passenger car for passenger transport, and as a family MPV. All models are even better equipped than their predecessors.
