The new Volvo C40 Recharge is a new electric car from Volvo based on the efficient and safe XC40, but with a more elegant, coupe-like roofline. It is an alternative to the new Mercedes EQA with 418 kilometres of range and two electric motors. Later this year, it will be available exclusively through Volvo's online car purchase service.

With the C40 Recharge, Volvo is launching its second all-electric model based on the CMA platform. The SUV coupé inherits the V40 and stands by the side of the XC40 Recharge. The CMA (Compact Module Architecture) platform was developed by Volvo and its Chinese parent company Geely in Sweden.
