In the Canadian province of British Columbia, beavers left about 900 people without the Internet. Rodents have disconnected the town of Tumblr Ridge from the internet. The connection was lost at 04:00 on April 24. When repairmen arrived at the site, they found that the beavers had damaged pieces of cable and optical fibre cable in several places.
Later it turned out that the animals had used the extracted materials to build a hut. The Internet was back on to local residents only by 15:00 on April 25.
